ROSEMARY IN BLOOM

Our rosemary plant that we purchased in late spring in a 3" pot and planted in terra cotta pot has grown and now, in late November has bloomed with lovely little lavendar colored flowers.
It lived outside all summer and fall, but now that the cold winter has come it has been moved in the house.  Hoping it continued to thrive.
I've tried to "winter" them over outside but it's just too cold here.
Rosemary is one of very favorite herbs . . . every time I smell it it makes me want to go cook something!

OUR LITTLE GLAMPING VISITOR

One thing I love about glamping in our mountains is seeing all the little hummingbird visitors we get.
We do hang a feeder from our EZ-Up canopy and get lots and lots of visitors.
This little girl flew under and up into the peak of the canopy.  She couldn't figure out how to get back out and flew until she got tired. She landed on a cross piece of the frame and I was able to gather her up and take her outside. I took her quite a distance away and she flew away.  Thankful she wasn't hurt!

HAPPY AUGUST SUNFLOWER!

Planted this variety of sunflowers in my garden this year.  This one is almost 7 inches in diameter and the plant about 6 feet tall.  I was just so tickled to see the first one open a few days ago and now there are more.  There is even a little honey bee enjoying this flower.
