JUST PERFECT for FARMGIRL SPRING

Closeup of the chickens, basket of eggs, basket of food and hoe that embellishes the wreath

I recently participated in a craft swap in a Facebook group and the talented lady I swapped with, who lives in California, sent me this wonderful wreath.  It's cheery, springy and very timely for looking forward to spring here in farmgirl Colorado.   It's hanging on the door that goes into our living/dining/kitchen area.  I'm just tickled all shades of pink with it!

AN APRON COLLECTION

It's impossible to take a picture of my apron collection and show you each one.  I am an "Apronista" which means I make and sell aprons.  This is part of my collection and there are 17 aprons hanging on this hook in my kitchen next to the frig.  There are bib aprons and waist aprons, some are vintage and some I made.  There is a BBQ apron for my hubby and some for breast cancer events that my daughter and I do together.
These do not include some of the ones that I use for Farmers Market, or my special holiday aprons. And the vintage ones from my mother-in-law are not in this photo.
The red, farm animal, "farmgirl" apron on the left and the one with denim blue ruffle and red rick-rack is a laundry items toss print both of which I made and they are favorites!!!!
Mercy me!!

SILKY TELLS ME SHE IS "HELPING" . . .

Silky is a tortoiseshell kitty who came to live with us in late September.  She is about 1 1/2 yrs. old now, an indoor cat and very active, playful, affectionate and fun.   She has to ALWAYS be in the middle of the process of making the bed.  We have a king size bed with comforters and lots of pillows and she dives into the middle of all of this, hiding and playing and making bedmaking more of a challenge than it normally would be.  She knows when I'm going in to the bedroom and comes racing in and "flies" onto the bed as if to announce "help has arrived".  Very entertaining!
