It's been too-o-o-o long! So, my daughter, Robin and I, are at it again. This time in Colorado in the San Juan Mountains by the Dolores River . . cool, fresh, quiet. And we have a new tent with a porch! We love the porch! We love spending time together and building our "girl fort", just enjoying our friendship . . . we're more than mother/daughter!
So happy for you two. You're having a wonderful summer. Just got a call from Karen letting me know her daughter just had another little boy. Woohoo.
ReplyDeleteWhat brand/model is your tent? I've been looking for a tent that has a "porch" like that.
ReplyDeleteOur tent is a Coleman Evanston Weathertec with screened porch . . you can get them without the screened porch. Our is a rated as a six-person. You can also get 8-person and I think a 4-person is available if you can find it.
ReplyDeleteCeeJay - thanks for the info! BTW - I found your website via Mary Janes.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so lovely!!! What did you use for the porch canopy?
ReplyDeleteLovely glampying. What did you use for the porch awning??
ReplyDeleteThe porch has an attached screen that has zipper down the middle of the front, with "doors" that can be tied back. The "lace" is lengths of ivory colored, lace edged valances that are tucked under the edge of the roof of the porch and the curved tent pole.
