Someday I hope to own a real bodhran and learn to "play" (beat) it. This is a small bodhran and while it can be beat it is more for decorative purposes because it is not full size. On our first trip to Ireland we were able to visit the Tipperary Crystal factory and purchase this little decanter. The little wooden plate was made by my hubby. Ireland is such a wonderful place to visit . . hope to go again before too long!!Scottish Thistles

BODHRANS & TIPPERARY
Someday I hope to own a real bodhran and learn to "play" (beat) it. This is a small bodhran and while it can be beat it is more for decorative purposes because it is not full size. On our first trip to Ireland we were able to visit the Tipperary Crystal factory and purchase this little decanter. The little wooden plate was made by my hubby. I often dream of being in Ireland. I have a photo of my Aunt Patsy upside down kissing the blarney stone. Would love to go but will have to settle for dreams.
