A friend of mine gave me . . yup, gave me . . several vintage feedsacks that had already been washed, the stitching removed and ready to sew into something. I was tickled all shades of pink! So, I used many of them in my "Retro" style aprons. Another vendor at our Farmers Market brought me some she wanted aprons made for herself and her mom from. And part of my payment was all of the leftover fabric. This apron is one I made from a feedsack from my friend and the pockets, collar and ties made from leftovers from the other project. I added some small ecru crocheted doilies to embellish it a bit more. I have enjoyed making these feedsacks into aprons, so much!! They are truly one-of-a-kind!
Love the apron and the little doilie just sets it off perfectly.
