Yes, the thistle is the National Flower of Scotland. And, being of Scottish/Irish ancestry and having had the privilege of traveling to Scotland more than once, I have a "fondness" for the beauty of the thistle. the "FLOWER of SCOTLAND"
Yes, the thistle is the National Flower of Scotland. And, being of Scottish/Irish ancestry and having had the privilege of traveling to Scotland more than once, I have a "fondness" for the beauty of the thistle. By the way, what is your maiden name? Scot or Irish?
ReplyDeleteMaiden name is "Gardner". Just like "Armstrong" there are some Scottish and some Irish. The "Gardners" are a sept of the Scottish Highland "Gordon" clan.
